In Nicaragua there are 176 airports. There are only 11 airports with paved runways, and 165 airports with unpaved runways. The railways are a total of 6km. The roadways are a total of 19,036km. There are 2,299km of road that is paved, and 16,737km of road that is unpaved. People also would use boats a lot because Nicaragua is surrounded by water on the east and west side, which is the Pacific Ocean, and the Atlantic Ocean.
